I know I’ve been participating in some “Evil Blog Promotions,” so I wanted to do my part and pass along some useful information I have been using to promote my blog.
As many of you might know, link building can be an extremely tedious thing to do, but it is a very important factor in getting a new site off the ground. Links represent support for your site so the more links you have from credible sources, the more legitimate your site becomes, which is something Google loves. So, to make things easy for you, I came across a small list of free and non-reciprocal directories on digitalpoint that every website, young and old, should be a part of:

Be careful adding directories to quickly or using low quality directories. This will do nothing but dilute you backlinks and most likely negatively effect your SERPS.

I can’t wait til my blog gets its pagerank assigned.. under the Google Webmaster Tools there is no information on it whatsoever yet.
