Do you know who Paul Potts is?
“My dream is to spend my life doing what I feel I was born to do.”
- A Mobile Phone Salesman from South Wales
I woke up this morning and as usual, turned on the KTLA morning news here in Los Angeles to see what’s been happening in the world. During the broadcast, they were promoting a concert of this man named Paul Potts ( I was thinking . . “that’s such a english name”), then they showed a clip of this lump of coal from England’s version of American Idol.
All I had to say was “I’m posting about his guy today!” These are the kind of stories that just make you believe that any of us can do what we love just as long as we get a chance.

That is pretty amazing. The expression on the girl judge in the middle is classic.

And I bought my wife his CD, thinking she’d like it, and never listened to it. Coming back on a plane, the audio system had his CD there, listened to the whole thing and was impressed again, amazing stuff.

Paul is amazing. I had seen this video a couple of months ago, but didn’t put too much attention to it. I had a chance to see it again a couple of weeks ago. I was speechless. He is amazing. As of April 25th The video on YouTube has had 23,783,783 views.

The show was called ‘Britain’s Got Talent’; guests are invited in to perform on stage. The contestants are whittled down from thousands to a single performance, who gets to perform at the Royal Variety Show. This year’s series is airing right now.
I love the video, Simon is ready to send him off before he has even begun!
