Food Blogging has been one of the fastest growing categories in the blogsophere these past couple of years and www.eatdrinknbmerry is a prime example of why. Started a little less than two years ago, eatdrinknbmerry.com has grown it’s popularity through maintaining the purity of the blog’s purpose, which is to celebrate all types of foods from all over the world.
Some of the best blog posts are about local hole in the wall restaurants in Southern California that you and I could easily pass by, but are instead bravely reviewed and recommended. Such a conissieur is he, that the staff at Anthony Bourdain’s show “No Reservations” on the Travel Channel found EDnbM and asked him to show Anthony around Thai Town in Hollywood, CA for some C-class Thai Noodles where “sweat is a good thing.” As a friend, nothing made me prouder than seeing EDnbM on tv for one of the true passions in his life - eating!
Other blogs highlight EDnbM’s passion for cooking, where he will carefully explain what he is cooking and what ingredients are involved. One of the best attributes of this blog is the use of photography to show the details and beauty of the ingredients and also the diagrams that EDnbM has thoughtfully drawn out on Photoshop to make sure his readers understand the whole process. For example, he just posted a great blog about everyone’s favorite Soup Based Noodle Dish, so eloquently named as Beef Noodle Soup.
