thats a good point. I thin their main page has too much crap. it used to be so easy to navigate but now i dont even go there anymore. I use msn, its easier on my eyes.

I really don’t know what are Yahoo marketing policies, for me the most pertinent question is what Yahoo intends to do with MyblogLog? Would they add new services or maybe Ads, given that mybloglog is Ad free. Also ask them why they continue to overload their homepage. thanks

google works. i doubt ysm will ever launch something out of nowhere that will beat their algo. it’s all based on relevancy and they haven’t figured out the formula yet. but i’d love to be proven wrong…

All these Google-esque upgrades are quick fixes. They need to do something completely different to beat Google. And my guess is that such a change will hit us outta nowhere.

i’d like to know if they’re going to eventually license google’s algorithm, sort of like how ford licenses toyota’s hybrid technology. my guess is probably not. so i’ll probably end up asking about how they plan to make their platform more user-friendly — i.e. load time, back button usage, more integrated features. put simply, their back end really really sucks (brian and i went through YSM together last week and even he started getting really upset)
