Other than that, the contest has been running along really smoothly and I’ve been meeting even more people than ever from around the world. A lot of people from the link train promotion have come back and are more enthusiastic than ever to enter the contest. I think it’s because the iPhone’s only been released in the United States so far, the rest of the world just doesn’t have any other way of getting their hands on them.
Anyways, my stats have been improving quite a bit. I’ve cracked 3,500 in technorati and hit all time highs in unique visitors on tuesday. Ms. Danielle reports that she’s almost cracked the Top 10 for the term “free online coupon,” but no word on “golf equipment“, yet. Other news would be that I was on Netscape’s front page for a good 10 hours, which gave me a good amount of traffic, but then some guy reported me as spam (I know who you are) and I was quickly removed! It’s ok though! The post I made for netscape got indexed by Google and it’s ranking #43 for the term “free iphone” as of today. I’m still going strong on Technorati’s WTF section having been at the top of the list for a solid 2 days now. One thing I’ve learned from being listed on there for so long is that it seems votes only have a shelf life of about 24 hours. After that, your votes start to diminish, but your rankings don’t get effected too much.
I know this is a little early for an update since it’s only been a couple of days since I started the contest, but to be honest with you, it’s become way more successful than I could have ever imagined and I wanted to share with you some important factors that made it happen. The contest is going so well, I might just stop over at the Apple Store and try to find something else to give away! Any suggestions?

funny thing is I have my old 5th generation 60GB Video iPod just kickin’ it on my desk right now. Maybe we’ll incorporate into the movie?

I’ve been getting a nice influx of new people coming in. I would safely say over 65% of viewers this week have been new. Now it’s my job to find a way to retain them.
sure . . . i personally need this credit card the most to pay for gas these days when I’m traveling . . . it’s especially helpful to keep track of your gas payments for tax purposes as well . . . there’s no way I’m carrying around that much cash with me . . . hahaha
