It looks like Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is continuing his quest to become the greatest mayor in Los Angeles City History. I grew up thinking that Tom Brady was that man and when Richard Riordan was Mayor, it made it easier to confirm that thought. Nowadays, Villaraigosa is someone who makes things happen and if he rubs some lobbyists the wrong way, so be it. Anyways, Mayor Villaraigosa has declared that he wants almost 500 square miles covered with Free WiFi by 2009 at a cost of $54-$62 Million. Hopefully, this project will come to fruition one day, but we have seen in San Francisco, there are many problems that can arise from this kind of undertaking.
