I've been able to "switch" 5 people in the last 6 months and all have been able to pick it up within a month. I think your 36 in LCD would be pretty good too, but I think you're limited to how high the resolution can go - 1024? I sometimes hook up my macbook to a 32" lcd, but it's way too bright for me to look at for too long!
