Programs Needed - FireFox
Phase I - Install Firefox
1. Double Click Firefox Installation Icon
2. Follow Installation Wizard
3. Transfer Bookmarks if Necessary
4. Start Surfing
Phase II - Uninstall Internet Explorer
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click Add or Remove Programs
3. Click Show Updates checkbox
4. Click whatever version of IE7 you have. For example “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview”
5. Click the Change/Remove button
Other Hints:
- Don’t Open Files from Unsolicited Emails on both your Offline and Online Programs (Outlook, Mail, Hotmail.com, GMail.com, Yahoo Mail)
- Use Tab-Browsing on Firefox - Control-T (PC) & Apple-T (Mac)
- Organize your Bookmarks into Correct Folders
- Download & Install GoogleSync so you can always have your Settings, Bookmarks and Passwords available for every computer you use.
