The Hottest Sauce EVER!
I met up with my sister and my cousin today over in South Pasadena to attend the local Farmer’s market they have every thursday! I looked forward to the Roasted Corn and Tri-Tip sandwiches along with all the fresh fruit all the local growers bring over. Today, a new vendor showed up on the street with the sign “PHILLY CHEESE STEAKS” . . . so I ran on over and ordered myself one. Like with all my food, I always gotta have my hot sauce so I used the one provided by the vendor labeled “After Death!” Of course, as all hot sauce story goes, I started sweating like a madman and downing every possible ounce of lemonade I could get my hands on. Numbness to my brain began to ensue, my eyeballs began to fry and my nose decided to start burning because I accidentally wiped the hotsauce up towards my nose.
It’s been 2.5 hour since and the burning sensation in my mouth has finally started to die down. Here’s a link to the hot sauce and here’s a picture. I challenge all to try this hot sauce!

Not the hottest sauce by far. After Death is rated at about 50,000 scovilles.
The hottest sauce is rated at 16,000,000 scovilles!!

For reference, tabasco sauce is around 2,000 scovilles.
I tend to eat foods that make me sweat like a fat chick on a muffin.

I grew up cooking New Orleans style & used to put six or eight different types of peppers in some dishes, in addition to tabasco. Can’t eat hot stuff at all anymore, but sometimes it’s sooooo tempting!
Visiting for the Postie Carnival!
My eyes are watering just thinking about it.
I love hot food, but this sounds too hot for me!

I mistakenly grabbed a bottle of A1’s new Steak Sauce with tobasco in it ~ OMG my mouth was on fire from just a little tobasco let alone something called After Death!!
I shall pass and bow before your hot sauceness
hot sauce frightens me… and hot sauce called anything with the word DEATH in it really frightens me LOL
I am showing this to my hubby. He loves his hot sauce.
Yowzers! I love hot stuff but it doesn’t love me back.
I was at a convenience store years ago when the teens hanging out there were raising a small collection that they were going use to pay a fool that they had dared to down a whole bottle of HP sauce. I know, it’s a tame sauce in moderation, but the whole bottle was a bit extreme. They refused to pay him when it didn’t stay down, and the girl working there told him he had to mop up AND pay for the HP sauce.
I was the adult standing by the DVD’s shaking his head in disapproval.
I thought the hottest was supposed to be Dave’s Insanity Sauce.
